Screening for Domestic Violence and Power Imbalances

This is a 21-hour or 28-hour course on how to screen for abuse and power imbalances, what tools and techniques to use for screening, and how to safeguard your ADR process.

 

Attending the first 3 days of the course meets the requirements for Accreditation and Certification as a Family Mediator. Day 4 will focus on working with domestic violence and power imbalance in the collaborative process. Collaborative professionals who attend days 1, 2, and 4 will satisfy the requirements for the OACP’s Advanced Collaborative Professional designation.

 

Certified by the Law Society of Ontario for 5 hours Professionalism content and 1 hour 15 minutes of EDI Professionalism content.
