This course is certified for accreditation for mediators, and for two of the 3 days required for Collaborative Professionals to apply for the OACP Advanced Collaborative Professional designation.


The course is offered online, using Zoom. It will cover how to screen for abuse and power imbalances; what tools and techniques to use for screening; how to determine when mediation, arbitration or Collaborative should proceed or continue;  and what adaptations could or should be made to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.


The full 3-day (21-hour) course has been certified by the Law Society of Ontario for 5 professionalism hours and 1 hour and 15 minutes of EDI content. You may register for 3 days, 2 days towards the Collaborative requirements, or 1 day as a refresher.
