Introductory Collaborative Practice Training (5 days)

This 5-day training satisfies the current OACP introductory training requirements. The full course is taught over 5 days: April 2nd and 3rd, 2020, and May 13th, 14th and 15th, 2020.

This is an interactive program providing the introductory training that will allow you to join a Collaborative Practice Group in Ontario. It will cover the historical development of collaborative practice, how this process differs from other approaches to dispute resolution, working in a collaborative team, how to engage clients in the process, and working with Intimate Partner Violence and cultural issues within the collaborative process.

This course will be taught in Waterloo by Collaborative Team Trainers Waterloo. The lead trainer is Diane McInnis, B.SC, B.Ed., LL.B., Advanced Collaborative Professional (OACP), AccFm (OAFM).
